The Sing & Play Holiday Songs
The Holiday Songs Book includes over 20 popular and original songs from different countries to celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and the New Year. Some of the songs are: I Have a Little Dreidel, Jingle Bells, Jolly Old Saint Nicholas, Silent Night, Deck the Halls, O Christmas Tree, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Mi Burrito Sabanero and Auld Lang Syne.

 

With the Sing & Play series, children 3 years old and up learn music in the most natural way, by singing songs with Do-Re-Mi (Solfège) and playing them on resonator bells and the piano. Solfège, a system where every note of the scale is given its own unique syllable, will help children to memorize the songs and develop their musical ear.
All songs are written with a clear structure. The melody is played with the right hand and the accompaniment with the left hand using the only three notes: the tonic, the dominant and the subdominant. Children will understand how music works from the very beginning, learn fast and perform with confidence.

There is a step-by-step guide of activities to learn the song and the different elements of music: beat, rhythm, downbeat, melody, music notation, music reading and ear training.
Because children love illustrations and stories, each song includes a beautiful full-page illustration, a historical note to spark children’s imagination and its lyrics to motivate the development of language, singing and reading.
