Piano Initiation (3 Years Old & Up)
During the Piano Initiation classes children participate in group and individual sessions. Away from the piano together with other children they learn the fundamental elements of music theory, music reading and writing and ear training through timeless children songs and pieces. During their individual time at the piano they develop their piano technique while playing the songs they learned in the group session.
At the Initiation Level, our learning system includes the Initiation Book, the Initiation CD, a fun and motivating rewarding system of badges that keeps the children engaged, and Video Tutorials that help them with their home practice. After completing the Initiation level students advance to the Preparatory Level.
From early on, students participate in Piano Student Presentations organized at the Steinway Gallery and other venues.
Small Group/Individual Piano Lessons (3 Years Old & Up)
The Brain-Based Piano Method helps children to acquire fundamental musical skills through age-appropriate, well-planned and fun musical activities.
Children start with a group or individual “Away from the Piano” session where they learn the fundamental elements of music through songs, and continue to an Individual Piano Lesson session where they develop their piano technique while playing the songs and pieces learned in the “Away from the Piano” session.
The organization of the method allows for a custom-made learning experience. Students are encouraged to make their own arrangements and compose their own songs.
Students start at the Initiation Level and progress to Level 1 and up.
Our learning system includes songbooks, workbooks, recordings, rewards and video tutorials.
Different days and times are available for piano lessons at our studio or your home.
